Enlarging using scales
Reflection:at first I hated it and I wanted to give up but I was resilient and tried again. After awhile I chose a different picture and my maths was quite easy.
Careers
WALT:make slides about what we want to be when we are older.
Reflection:At first I did not really want to study careers because I thought it would be hard but then I got the hang of it.
It really helped me discover what qualifications I need to become a architect. I sort of dont want to become an architect because it takes 8-10 years of training.

WALT - write thank you letters to everyone who helped us with our Wellington trip
James Cook Grand Chancellor Hotel
Wellington City
Kaingaroa School
State Highway 10

9th November 2018
Dear Grand Chancellor
I am really grateful for having an opportunity that most students would dreams of and being able to eat heaps at your hotel. It was the best day ever. If I were to work somewhere in Wellington it would be the James Cook Grand Chancellor. I would be a waiter so I could meet new people.
When we were in Wellington we stayed at the Top Ten holiday park in Lower Hutt. We did a whole bunch of activities including Zealandia, H20 Xtream, Jumparama, Parliament and Te Papa. We also went to Capital E, which was really fun. If you want to see it go to youtube, Capital enz, and Kaingaroa Taku Tohu. We are the ones at the top. The last place we went to was Laser tag and ten pin bowling, which was a lot of fun. I was the winner of Ten Pin Bowling.
I would like to say another big thank-you to you for having us noisey school kids in for a massive dinner and dessert. We all really loved it.
Yours Thankfully

Speech 2018
WALT:Write a convincing speech
Introduction:
Hi my name is Dylan I am going to speak to you about why to trust me with our future hopefully I can convince you.
The first reason I have to be trusted with our suture is all about global warming. Why is there so much carbon dioxide going into our atmosphere and wrecking our ozone layer... ?? Well I will tell you. There are 4 main gases in the atmosphere, there is the ozone layer, carbon dioxide, methane and water vapor. They are all meant to be balanced but they are not. We are burning too much rubbish and that is causing the levels of carbon dioxide to rise by too much. When there are to much of one sort it creates a warmer earth and creates global warming. In 2015 it was the hottest year and 2016 even more hotter! So what do we do, well we need to burn less rubbish and shut down the nuclear power plants. This is one way that we can make a future a better place.
My second reason is all about sustainability and rubbish. Plastic bags should have never been invented. It’s ruining our world by the second. If our world did not have plastic bags that would be a life changer for our generations yet to come. There are 5 vortex in the ocean. The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is a collection of rubbish in the North Pacific Ocean. Litter ends up in oceans, seas, and other large bodies of water. The Great Pacific Garbage Patch, also known as the Pacific trash vortex that spans waters from the west Coast of North America to Japan. One of the ocean vortexes leads to Henderson island off New Zealand. Most off the plastic is non biodegradable and ends up where some of the most beautiful places like Henderson Island for instance an estimated 37.7 million pieces of plastic litter the island and a average 671 items per square metre and it gets even better. 57 species on Henderson island are native and don’t live anywhere else in the world but if Henderson island get to polluted where will the animals go.
The reason why I think animals shouldn’t be in captivity because they need to be them and we should respect everyone even if they can’t understand us. I think that since animals are in the zoo they do not behave as they would in there natural habitat. They should only be captivity if there injured or having trouble giving birth.

Say if out of nowhere you just got took by some people who you didn't even know when you were a newborn. Just imagine if that was you as a young gorilla let's say for instance. People would have taken you just for how cute you would look and take you to a zoo so you would be on show 24/7.
How would that make you feel not known who your Mum or Dad and even your brothers or sister you might of had.
Please do not be that person who is cruel to gorilla wildlife.
Conclusion
Please!! listen to me if you want to have a good future stop dropping rubbish, burning all the rubbish to create more carbon dioxide you know how dumb it is. If you would know what I knew about how our world is failing you would stop immediately.
Please trust me with our future!!

Kakapo writing
Walt:Write a persuasive writing about a new Zealand native bird
Today I will be telling you some traits about the kakapo. First one is the population, second one is the habitat and the last one is the behaviours of the kakapo. Keep reading to find out facts about this endangered New Zealand native bird.
Firstly did you know that the population is dreadful for the Kakapo. It is only 149 to this day. There are 18,000 Kiwi compared to Kakapo. There are 74 Kakapo in the North Island and 75 in the South Island. The most populated area is Fiordland. A fun fact is every Kakapo is tracked with a tag and has a different name.
Secondly, I will be talking to you about where the Kakapo lives.. The Kakapo likes to build their bases in Fiordland. Sometimes the Kakapo like to make a hut in Coastal areas. For example most Kakapo are found in there burrows near coastal areas. The Kakapo is threatened by stoats, ferrets, possums and weasels.
Lastly I will talking to you about the Kakapo behaviours. The Kakapo is a nocturnal bird and also has a herbivorous diet, eating seeds, nuts, fruits, berries and flowers. The kakapo is particularly fond of the fruit of the rimu tree and kakapo have been known to feed exclusively on the rimu fruit when they are on the ground. Personally I think this is a really healthy diet for the kakapo.
I hope you have learnt some facts and things about the Kakapo and hopefully you can help to save the Kakapo. I really hope we can raise the population of the Kakapo.

other users use consoles.

Basics on how to play
When you jump out of the Battle Bus that travels all
over the map in one line. Once you jump out of the
Battle Bus you can either free fall or deploy a glider.
A glider is what you use when you want to land.
People mostly gather materials get guns and run into the zone where
the storm comes.

the storm comes.
All about the storm
Well you're probably asking what is the storm well it is a pink and
purple hurricane that takes your health away if your in it. The zone
gets smaller and smaller when the games goes on and gets more
deadly throughout the game.

How to stay Alive
When running away from the storm you have to look
out for other players trying to shoot you.
You can build walls, stairs, pyramids and platforms.
When you are getting shot at you are mostly likely to build a wall
so you can hide from it.
If you kill them all the guns and the materials will drop
on the floor you will have to pick up the guns but you can
run on the ammo and materials. The highest Wood,Brick
and Metal you can have is 999. Fortnite has 45 million users
and 3 million concurrent users.

I conclude
Because of all the publicity and how popular Fortnite is it will survive
longer than Pokemon Go. Hopefully it’s around a lot longer than all the
other games that blow up with users.
